Hi! I'm Megan Jennings. I am a Certified Midwife Assistant, Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, a Certified Breastfeeding Educator, Community Mentor and Owner of Nature’s Blossom Birth. I have served multiple families as a Birth Doula since March of 2013 and have been providing Postpartum Doula support since 2015. I received my Midwife Assistant certification in July of 2017.
I found my passion for birth after the birth of my first child. My experience was empowering because I had a provider who respected my choices as the laboring mother. This inspired me to help other families achieve the birth they feel is right for them. I believe that having the knowledge to make informed choices in birth shapes who you will be as a mother. I believe that bringing a new person into your family and becoming a parent is a delicate, transformative time and I aim to provide the support needed to ease that transition.
In March 2018 I expanded my solo practice as a birth and postpartum doula to an agency. My goal with this agency is to build a community of amazing, trustworthy birth workers to help support the families who choose us for their birth and postpartum care.
I am happily married to a loving and supportive husband with a young son and daughter. I might be completely obsessed with house plants and I love a good cup of coffee, any time of day.
